![]() ![]() Jason watched as the two walked away, wisely keeping his mouth shut. “I bet I can take him out faster than you,” the second said, jabbing his partner in the ribs. “Oh yeah! I bet we can take him out, even being newbies,” the first Turk boasted. He tried to warn them-it was their own fault if they went around causing trouble. The rage and fury on the Turks face spelled trouble, but Jason didn’t care right now. Cloud is far more valuable to Shinra than either of you.” “If that’s how you think, you’ll be dead within a week. Jason was about to respond but then he reconsidered his words. “The only ones that really matter to Shinra are the Firsts,” the first Turk said. Useless cannon fodder like the rest of your entire group.” “Listen SOLDIER, I’m pretty sure I told you to beat it,” the Turk snapped. “You do not want to get on Cloud’s bad side.” “I’m serious,” Jason warned, his eyes narrowed. Was this part of the initiation within Turks? SOLDIERs did have a bit of a rivalry with Turks, simply because Turks handled more covert missions and SOLDIERs didn’t. Jason wondered why these Turks had such a problem with SOLDIERs. “Beat it, SOLDIER scum,” the second Turk snarled at him. “Hey, Turks,” he said clearly, “be careful about what you say.” He felt himself react before he could even consider whether this was going to be a good idea or not. Jason found himself offended on all behalf of SOLDIERs. “They always hype up the SOLDIER program,” the other Turk answered. “I mean, Sephiroth is one thing, but this Cloud Strife? I bet any Turk could take him out easy.” “What’s so scary about SOLDIERs anyway?” the Turk was saying to his assigned partner. It was an outline for new Turks to report to training, but in big, bold letters on the bottom, there was a very clear warning to stay away from Cloud Strife and Mister General. He was passing by the newbie Turk who was scoffing from reading something in his hands, making Jason glance over at the papers. At least the General didn’t have a reputation of skewering people who looked at Cloud wrong. Neither was a great option, but Jason would have preferred General Sephiroth over Mister General any day. With only a glance, it was impossible to tell whether it was Mister General walking towards them, or if it was General Sephiroth. Especially when he was glaring at something or someone. Mister General gave off this incredibly uncomfortable vibe of wanting to destroy everyone and everything around him. To be perfectly honest, most people were scared of Mister General.
